For this assignment, we had to take five portrait pictures of five different classmates, using all of the rules and tricks that we were taught so far throughout the year.
In this portrait, I chose to put her against the wall to give the portrait some texture and make a good background to her portrait. I was successful at taking this shot because I got the picture taken at the right angle and the natural light made everything even

In this portrait I did the same thing because it gives something more then just a background with noise in it. This shot was successful for me because the lighting was good and the shadow was behind her on the wall and not on her face

This picture is good because there isn't any harsh sun lines on her face. This was also successful because the lighting was good

For this portrait the school is in the background showing depth and there is also a tree on the side of her. This was a successful shot because there is not a lot of noise (such as trash cans or people) in the background

In this portrait the sunlight is on her face causing shadows around her eyes, but the background is good because it has some color in it. I think this was a successful shot because there is color in the background and the lighting was okay
